David Timothy Newman (any/all) is a Los Angeles-based fantasy writer, behavioral scientist, and 10-year Burning Man theme camp organizer whose art has accidentally been featured in National Geographic and the Daily Beast. They have probably spent more time in school than is strictly healthy (PhD from USC, JD from Harvard Law, Yale BA). Growing up in the East Village of New York, David fell in love with fantasy from an early age and also once lost a sword fight—badly—to a kid who went on to be an Olympic medalist in saber.
David's debut epic contemporary fantasy novel is represented by Matt Bialer.
